MISSION
The National
Board of the Episcopal Church Women exists to support all women
in their Mission and Ministry in the World.
VISION
Our vision for
all women of the Episcopal Church is that we become a vibrant blend
of all ages, coming together as a peacemaking, healing part of the
Church. We aspire to be a shining and sharing the love of Christ.
GOALS
- To strengthen
lines of communication through the Communiqué, website and
diocesan and provincial visitations.
- To establish
Women of Vision and Call to Action programs in every diocese.
- To encourage
familiarity with and participation in programs offered by Episcopal
Church Women.
Nehemiah
Project
The Nehemiah Project
is a covenant relationship between parishes of the diocese and the
entire diocesan family of the Diocese of Southeast Florida. The parishes
covenant with the diocesan family to engage in a 24 to 36 month transformational
period of discernment, training, and the implementation of a ministry
plan that will begin their adventure of raising the size of one to
three levels within 5 to 7 years and eventually ministering to a parish
family in excess of 500 average worship attendance (AWA).
The
Youth and Children’s Ministry
A
safe and sacred place for ALL children and youth to encounter and
experience Christ, with planned and supervised activities throughout
the year.
GraceFest
An annual October
event held on the Church grounds with activities such as international
shops, youth activities, green market, various entertainment and cooking
booths, including the famous barbeque chicken dinners. This activity
plays an integral role in the operation and ministry of the Church.
Grace Health
Fair
An annual community
event held on the second Saturday of August, that provides preventative
health information such as screening for blood pressure, diabetes,
HIV and dental health. It also provides immunization for children
2 months to 18 years by the Palm Beach County Health Department.
Annual
Grace Gala
The objective
of this annual spring fellowship event is to raise proceeds for the
building fund.
